Let it CHANGE
There is one thing that never changes, shifts, or move and that is Abba’s love for us! What peace it is to know that. The more maturity sets in, I realize that what I needed in the past, doesn’t accommodate my current needs. No fault to anyone, its just life.
I want to encourage you to fret not as things change. Instead seek God and ask for direction and strength to change too. In changing times don’t be afraid to ask for what you need from relationships. Remember things change! Don’t sacrifice your growth or needs because others are still looking for the old you. You will not get or learn all the Father has for you staying in the stuck “old” place.
The Father’s desire for us is to outgrow the places in which we have grown accustomed. Our lives will continue to experience messiness, challenges, and changes but we don’t have to be led astray because of it. It is beneficial for us to whole-heartily cling to the love of our Father. He is trustworthy; know that, his love is our anchor, his call is our purpose, and his plan is our destiny.
The prior paragraphs are written to encourage you. Now, I need to challenge you. As you change it is important that you allow others to change too. Don’t expect them to become what you need instead, allow them to become what the Father says. As they are changing, don’t place responsibility on them they cannot handle. Don’t allow your flesh to interfere in what God is working out in them. Lastly, don’t expect the old them!
In conclusion remember Life Changes- nothing stays the same except our GOD! No matter what, cling to what David says in Psalm 37:25, “I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.”
You can trust Abba.
